Steps to merge PDF files
Open the merge tool and add the PDFs you want to combine. You can select several files at once or add them one by one.
Set the order, then run the merge and download the result.
- Open the merge tool.
- Add two or more PDF files.
- Drag the files into the order you want.
- Click merge and wait for processing.
- Download the combined PDF and check the pages.
The order in the list is the order in the file
Merging follows the sequence of files in the list, not the order in which you selected them. The top file becomes the first pages of the output.
Check the page count of each file before merging if the order matters, such as when combining a signed cover sheet with a contract.
What merging does not do
Merging joins pages into one PDF. It does not compress the result, run OCR on scanned pages, or improve image quality.
The output file is usually close to the combined size of the inputs. If the merged file is too large, compress it as a separate step.
Encrypted or password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked before they can be merged.
Where your files are processed
VoraPDF processes the merge in your browser. Your PDFs are not uploaded to a VoraPDF server.
That does not remove every risk: on a shared or public computer, downloaded files remain in the download folder. Delete them when you are done.
