What this tool does

TXT to PDF sets plain text into a properly paginated document: it measures each line, wraps at the margin, and starts a new page when the space runs out. Markdown, CSV and log files work too, because they are all text at heart.

The font size is yours to choose, and long lines can either wrap to the margin or keep the original line breaks — the second option is what you want for code, ASCII tables and fixed-width logs. Unicode is handled natively, including Chinese, Japanese and Cyrillic.

How to convert it

  1. Add a .txt, .md, .csv or .log file.
  2. Set the page size, font size and wrapping.
  3. Convert and download the PDF.

When to use it

  • Turning a log file or a data dump into something readable and shareable.
  • Printing notes or a manuscript kept as plain text.
  • Producing a PDF from generated text without a word processor.

What it cannot do

  • Plain text only: no bold, headings or images.
  • Very large files are limited by browser memory, typically a few megabytes of text.

Questions about this conversion

Is this PDF tool really free?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no daily limit on the number of files. The tools run on your own device, so there is no per-file cost to pass on to you.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

Not for this tool: the conversion happens in your browser and the file is never sent anywhere. Where a job genuinely needs a server, the page says so before you start and deletes the copy with the job.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Pages are keyboard reachable and the drop area accepts the phone file picker. Large documents are limited by the memory of the device rather than by the site.

Can I use the output commercially?

Yes. We claim no rights over your documents or the files produced from them, and we add nothing to the output.

Does it understand Markdown syntax?

It treats Markdown as plain text, so the source stays visible. That is deliberate: stripping syntax would also mangle code blocks and tables. Convert with a Markdown tool if you need rendered headings.

How many pages can it handle?

A few thousand lines are comfortable. The limit is memory, not page count, so a 5 MB text file may be slower than a 50-page document.
