What this tool does

Excel to PDF reads the .xlsx workbook, measures the used range of every sheet, and prints it to PDF with automatic column widths and page breaks. Choose portrait or landscape per file, and switch gridlines on when the table needs borders to be readable.

All sheets are exported in order, each starting on a new page with its name as a heading. Values are shown as they are stored, so a cell holding a formula shows its result.

How to convert it

  1. Add an .xlsx file.
  2. Pick the orientation and whether to draw cell borders.
  3. Convert and download the PDF.

When to use it

  • Printing a price list or an inventory sheet.
  • Sending a table to somebody without Excel.
  • Archiving a monthly report as a fixed document.

What it cannot do

  • Formulas are exported as their last stored value, not recalculated.
  • Charts, images and pivot tables are not rendered.

Questions about this conversion

Is this PDF tool really free?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no daily limit on the number of files. The tools run on your own device, so there is no per-file cost to pass on to you.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

Not for this tool: the conversion happens in your browser and the file is never sent anywhere. Where a job genuinely needs a server, the page says so before you start and deletes the copy with the job.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Pages are keyboard reachable and the drop area accepts the phone file picker. Large documents are limited by the memory of the device rather than by the site.

Can I use the output commercially?

Yes. We claim no rights over your documents or the files produced from them, and we add nothing to the output.

Why does a wide sheet split across pages?

A spreadsheet can be wider than a printed page. Columns are split at the page edge and continued on the next page, which keeps every value readable instead of shrinking the sheet to an unreadable size.

Are hidden rows and sheets included?

Hidden rows are skipped on every sheet; hidden sheets are not exported at all. Unhide what you need in Excel first if the PDF is missing something.
