Privacy policy

This policy describes exactly what happens to your files and your data when you use VoraPDF. It is deliberately short, because very little happens.

Last updated: October 2026

Your documents

Files you open in a VoraPDF tool are read directly from your device by your browser, and the processing happens there. Fifteen tools never upload anything, including watermark and image to PDF. The seven organising tools — merge, split, extract, organise, rotate, compress and PDF to image — also start in your browser and only fall back to the server when a document is too large for a tab.

Compress and PDF to image go further because they must draw every page as pixels. When a document exceeds 200 pages those two tools offer a server path instead, and the page tells you before anything is sent. That upload is written to an isolated task directory with a random name, processed there, and deleted with the task, at the latest after 60 minutes. We log neither file names nor document contents.

Data we do not collect

There are no user accounts, so no names, email addresses or passwords are collected. There are no analytics, advertising or session-recording scripts on this site. No document content is ever logged.

Data stored in your browser

One value is stored locally: your language preference. It is kept in localStorage under the key pdfnest.lang, stays on your device, and is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

Third parties

The site loads its own scripts and styles from the same domain. No third-party fonts, CDNs, trackers or advertising networks are used while you work with a document.

If the site is served through a hosting provider, that provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp) as part of normal web hosting. Those logs never contain your document.

Your rights

Because VoraPDF does not hold personal data or documents, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf. If you have a question about this policy, you can contact us using the details on the contact page.
